Job Title: Piano Teacher

Position Type: Part-Time Employment

Qualifications: Bachelor of Music in Piano or equivalent professional training and teaching experience in piano performance and pedagogy preferred.

The Piano Teacher position at Piano Buds in a Pod is a part-time role from September 10, 2026 through June 20, 2027. Compensation is $40–45 per hour, paid biweekly. Instruction will take place at 1751 2nd Avenue, Suite 101, New York, NY 10128.

Tuesday 3:30–4:15 PM – Group Piano Class 

Tuesday 4:20–5:05 PM – Group Piano Class 

Tuesday 5:10–5:55 PM – Group Piano Class

Tuesday 6:00–6:30 PM – Individual Piano Class

Sunday 9:30–10:15 AM – Group Piano Class

The total weekly pay for this part-time position, based on the initial schedule outlined above, is $160/week-$180/week, which reflects 4 hours of piano instruction at a rate of $40-45/hour. Compensation will be paid biweekly.

We may extend your teaching hours accordingly.

The interview will focus on the alignment of teaching philosophies and the teaching process within our group piano classes at the studio.
