Group Piano is an in-studio program for beginner and intermediate students that develops keyboard fundamentals, note reading, finger dexterity, solo repertoire, and performance skills. Books are required. Students learn to read and write music as part of the curriculum. Students progress through Alfred’s Piano Method Books at their own pace in a shared lesson format, combining instruction at the grand piano, independent practice on digital pianos, and in-class performances. This structure fosters musical independence, focus, and confidence in a group setting. Class duration: 45-minutes. Class size: 1 to 5 students. Facility: 1 acoustic grand piano and 5 digital pianos. Fees: Group Piano classes are available as either full-course enrollment or single drop-in sessions. Full-course tuition is $40 per 45-minute class, and drop-in tuition is $55, or $40 for first-time students using code ILOVEGROUPPIANO, limited to one (1) use per student.
