Piano Pioneers is a group piano program for beginner & intermediate levels. You will explore the keyboard basics, reading on the grand staff, increasing finger dexterity, playing solo repertoire, and performing in front of the class. Whether you plan to play your favorite piece, or take a piano exam, pieces are at the heart of your piano education. After all, playing an instrument is all about exploring, performing, and learning through repertoire. Fee: $37.50/45-minutes class

About the ABRSM Piano Examination - The minimum requirement is ABRSM Initial level or the ability to fluently read and play on the grand staff.

Students attend a weekly 45-minutes group class.

You may either drop off the student or wait in the classroom, following these rules:

Creating a sound-free learning space is our top priority, as students learn to play the piano through attentive listening.

You are welcome to wait inside the classroom; however:

• Silence is mandatory for the entire duration of the class.
• Any noise, including talking, disrupts the class and is not permitted.
• If disturbances continue, you will be asked to leave immediately and wait outside the classroom.
• Due to class size, the green rug is reserved for students to do their theory work, group activities, and participate as the “audience” during performance sessions. Please remain seated either on the wooden bench or on the blue rug by the door.
• No strollers are allowed inside the classroom:
  • At the concierge desk, ask for Piano Bud’s designated stroller parking space.
  • The concierge will direct you to the stroller parking space at the concierge desk or the community hall, where there are security cameras at the entry doors, on the same level.
  • Take your valuables with you.
  • Take the elevator to Floor 1, at Suite 101, and attend the class.

The class capacity is 5 students at maximum.

Alexandra Minoza is a professional pianist, a Steinway Teacher & Educational Partner, and holds a Master of Music in Advanced Performance (Piano) from the Royal College of Music in London, where she was awarded the Polani Award scholarship, a Bachelor of Music in Performance (Piano) from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in the National University of Singapore, where she was awarded a full-scholarship sponsored by Singtel. Make-up classes (up to 2 classes) for missed Group Piano classes are available until the last day of the course. If you miss your scheduled class, students have the option to transfer their ticket to another class date before the end of the course. Note: Missed make-up classes are non-transferable to another course. To request a ticket transfer, please email pianobudsinapod@gmail.com.

Please read and agree to the Class Cancellation and Refund Policy before booking a class. Please note that all refund requests must be made in writing to the studio administration within the specified timeframes outlined in this policy. Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 15 working days of the request being received to your original payment method. To do so, please send an email to pianobudsinapod@gmail.com requesting a refund.
