Alexandra Minoza, founder of Piano Buds in a Pod, is a professional pianist and holds a Master of Music in Advanced Performance (Piano) from the Royal College of Music in London, where she was awarded the Polani Award scholarship, a Bachelor of Music in Performance (Piano) from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in the National University of Singapore, where she was awarded a full-scholarship sponsored by Singtel, and a High School Diploma from the Philippine High School for the Arts as a government scholar. She taught early-childhood music education, Suzuki Piano Method, and prepared students for ABRSM examination and Trinity College London examinations in Singapore and at KM Music Conservatory, whose founder is Grammy award-winner music producer and music composer A.R. Rahman in Chennai, India.
Her 2023-2024 concert engagements included performances with soprano Keerthana Sriram, who performed Mozart's Voi che sapete from The Marriage of Figaro at the American Virtuoso International Music Competition and Schubert's Lachen und Weinen at the American Protégé International Music Competition in Carnegie Hall; vocalist Prarthana Sriram, who performed Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball at the American Protégé International Music Competition in Carnegie Hall; and vocalist Dhanya Mayuran, who performed Christina Perri's A Thousand Years at the American Protégé International Music Competition winners' recital in Carnegie Hall; violinist Beckett Chua, who performed at the American Protégé International Music Competition in Carnegie Hall. Additionally, she performed a musical story featuring Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf arranged for one narrator, two violins, one viola, and one piano at Earth & Me in Astoria, Queens. She also gave a violin and piano recital, performing Beethoven's Violin Sonata No. 8, Bruch's Violin Concerto Op. 26, Dvorak-Kreisler's Slavonic Fantasia in B minor, and Paganini's Cantabile. She currently lives in New York City.

4. Attend the rehearsal.
Performance duration is capped at 5 minutes; if it's between 6 to 20 minutes, the rehearsal fee with the piano accompanist including the rehearsal space is $150.

Dear Students and Families,
The piano recital will take place on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 4:30 PM at Steinway Hall, NYC. Performers will receive a Certificate of Performance, presented by Jennifer Chiaramonte, and the event concludes with a group photo. Enroll in the group or individual piano course by January 31, 2025, and remain enrolled through the recital date to participate.
